These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website Showoff.video (the "Service"), operated by Showoff.video ("we," "us," or "our").
By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the Service.
1. Definitions
"Service" refers to the video mockup generation tools and features provided on Showoff.video.
"User" ("you") refers to the individual accessing or using the Service.
"Subscription" refers to the recurring payment plan that grants access to premium features.
2. Access and Use of the Service
2.1 Eligibility By using our Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 13 years of age. If you are under 18, you may use the Service only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
2.2 Accounts When you create an account with us, you must provide information that is accurate, complete, and current. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account. You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Service.
3. Subscriptions, Free Trials, and Billing
3.1 Free Trial We may offer a Subscription with a free trial period of 7 days. You will be required to enter your billing information in order to sign up for the free trial.
If you do not cancel your Subscription before the trial period ends, you will be automatically charged the applicable subscription fee for the billing cycle chosen.
You can cancel your trial at any time through your account settings or the Stripe portal to avoid being charged.
3.2 Billing and Payments The Service is billed on a subscription basis ("Subscription(s)"). You will be billed in advance on a recurring and periodic basis (such as monthly or annually), depending on the type of Subscription plan you select.
Payments are processed securely via Stripe. We do not store your full credit card information on our servers.
3.3 Cancellation You may cancel your Subscription renewal at any time through your account management page (Billing Portal).
Effect of Cancellation: Your cancellation will take effect at the end of the current paid term. You will retain access to the Service until that date.
No Refunds: We do not provide refunds or credits for any partial subscription periods or unused time, except where required by UK law.
4. Intellectual Property & Content
4.1 Your Content We claim no ownership rights over the videos, images, or assets ("User Content") you upload to Showoff. You retain full ownership of your intellectual property.
By uploading Content, you grant us a temporary, worldwide license specifically to process, host, and display that Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you (e.g., rendering the video mockup).
4.2 Prohibited Content You agree not to use the Service to create, upload, or share content that:
Is unlawful, illegal, or promotes illegal activities.
Infringes on the copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights of others.
Contains malware, viruses, or malicious code.
We reserve the right to remove Content and terminate accounts that violate these rules without prior notice.
4.3 Our Intellectual Property The Service itself (excluding User Content), including the "Showoff" logo, design, code, and mockups templates, remains the exclusive property of Showoff.video and its licensors.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties ("As Is")
The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. Showoff.video makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the operation of the Service or the information, content, or materials included.
We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or free from errors.
We are not responsible for any loss of data or Content. You should always keep backups of your original files.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law (including UK Consumer Law), in no event shall Showoff.video, its directors, employees, or partners, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:
Your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Service;
Any unauthorized access to our servers and/or any personal information stored therein.
7. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice via email prior to any new terms taking effect. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
